CARPRO MadMatte is a cutting-edge SiO₂-based ceramic spray sealant designed specifically for matte, satin, and frozen finishes, including paint, PPF, or vinyl wraps on the body or even the wheels. Unlike traditional sealants, MadMatte protects without adding gloss, preserving the texture of your vehicle’s finish while subtly enhancing depth and uniformity.
Powered by advanced hydrophobic technology, MadMatte repels water, dirt, and contaminants, making routine maintenance easier and safer for these harder-to-maintain surfaces. Use it as a standalone protectant or as a topper to boost and extend the hydrophobic performance of an existing ceramic coating such as CQUARTZ Skin or Dlight.

Directions:
- Spray 3–4 sprays onto a clean 2 Face Towel or Microfiber Madness Slogger Towel.
- Alternatively, you may spray 1–2 sprays evenly across the section you’re working on. Avoid over-application.
- Immediately spread the product evenly over a 2–2.5 sq. ft. area.
- Work it into the surface until it’s nearly flashed away.
- Flip the towel and buff further to a uniform finish.
- Switch to a fresh, clean towel (we recommend either another 2Face towel, a CARPRO BOA or Microfiber Madness Crazy Pile Towel) and buff once more to remove any remaining residue.
- Inspect each panel before proceeding to the next.
Precautions:
- Do not apply in direct sunlight
- The surface should be cool to the touch
- Apply in good ambient lighting
- Shake well before use

Q: Will MadMatte change the appearance in any way at all?
A: That depends on the exact surface. On some surfaces you may see no difference at all while others will show an increase in richness or slightly darken the surface.
Q: How does the SiO₂ content in MadMatte compare to Reload 2.0, and are there other key differences besides the lack of gloss enhancers?
A: MadMatte is also based on SiO₂ technology, but it utilizes a different type that offers far less gloss enhancement. The formula contains about 10% SiO₂, primarily to deliver strong hydrophobic performance. This unique blend also helps resist most minerals from bonding to matte surfaces.
